Under the UP Mukhyamantri AWAS yojana, the authorities have released a separate notification for both rural and urban areas. The objective of the yojana is to provide affordable housing for the poor sections of the state residing in both rural and urban areas by the year 2023. The scheme includes various condition for the interested applicant’s which are stated below for reference:
- The applicant should a permanent residency certificate of Uttar Pradesh state.
- The applicant should not hold any defaulting records with the banks while applying under the yojana.
- The annual income limit for EWS (Economic Weaker Section) family is ₹2 lakhs, for LIG (Lower Income Group) is ₹3 Lakhs and for Middle-Income Group -(MIG-I) income is ₹3 Lakhs.
- The applicant should not already be getting any kind of benefits or subsidy from any central/state government.
- The applicant should not own any property under their name and along with any of the family members (including the dependents).
- The houses given under this scheme will be owned by females or jointly with males.
