Smartphone technology is out of the range for this women population due to a number of reasons be it cost and also understanding this technology is a challenge for women who are uneducated or are fixated within their houses.

The state government of Rajasthan with the help of this Rajasthan free mobile yojana plans to provide mobile phones of worth Rs. 10000 to the women along with these mobiles 5 GB data per month for 3 years, unlimited free local and STD calling facility and mobile SIM will also be given free of cost for sure. The smartphones will be distributed by setting up camps in every gram panchayat of Rajasthan.

The eligibility criteria for the interested applicants have also been stated in the notification by the state government. The criteria are as follows:

• The beneficiary should hold a domicile of Rajasthan state.
• The family annual income of the beneficiary should not be more than two lakhs per annum.
• Also, the beneficiary should be a registered Chiranjeevi card holder.
• Only women belonging to economically weaker sections will be considered.

Under the Rajasthan Free Mobile Yojana 2023 Phones will be distributed from March 2023 by setting up camps in every gram of the state. These phones will of Samsung, Nokia and Jio company. Along with distribution of mobile phones the beneficiary women will be given digital lessons regarding g these smartphones. For this, the state government of Rajasthan will initially prepare 70000 master trainers that are known as Digital Sakhi.

A group of 4-4 women will formed in every Gram Panchayat Which educates these women from phone distribution to their use. Female candidates can sell these smartphones nor change the SIM along with this the primary slot of the SIM box of the phone will be kept closed. The same SIM will work in the secondary SIM slot which will be activated and given to the beneficiary women.
