The government offers Gargi puraskar for these female students and we shall discuss about this in today’s article. Under the Gargi puraskar scheme the government has promised to offer the girl students of Rajasthan state a prize money of 3000 who pass their 10th standard examination with 75% marks at least and they decide to enrol themselves in the next class by the Board and 5000 rupees prize money.
It will be given to the students who get 75% or above marks in their 12th class examination and then enrol themselves to higher educational colleges. The prize amount shall be transferred to the bank account of the applicant after she completes the registration procedure. The scheme is administered by the ministry of education department of Rajasthan state.

- the incentive amount is distributed to the girls every year on the day of Basant Panchami through the District Education Officer of the district.

- As per the scheme, the incentive amount is given in instalments. The first instalment is awarded to the girl students who have secured 75% or more marks and have decided to continue their education in the next session and then the second instalment is granted.

There are two ways to apply for the Gargi Puraskar yojana which stated below:
- Online method:
- First of all, the interested female applicants have to visit the official website of Shala Darpan.
- On the homepage search for and then click on Gargi Awards option.
- Then you will directed to a new page where You have to enter all the information like your name, mother’s name, session, roll number, mobile number, education details and more and then click on the link to authenticate.
- Then the applicants have to upload all the important documents and click on submit option.
- The application will then processed further by the authorities and will cross-checked from the respective school of the applicant.
- Offline mode:
- Firstly, visit the Girl Child Education Foundation Rajasthan.
- On the home page click on the Rewards option.
- Click on notification for Gargi Awards and read all the instructions and click on download application form.
- A PDF of the Gargi Puraskar Application will open in front of you, download the application form and take a printout of the same.
- After this, fill in all the information asked in the application form and then submit it to the concerned department.
